Competency: This custom line art design demonstrates my ability to pay attention to details and to create an accurate representation of a photograph.



Self-Reflection: In the process of creating this custom line art, I learned how to use gradients to represent depth, as well as the differences between the pencil tool and the paintbrush tool.

This postcard design uses the bold, complimentary colors of orange and blue to create visual interest.

Competency: This postcard design demonstrates my ability to create an attention-grabbing design and to fit a lot of information into a small space that is visually appealing.



Self-Reflection: In the process of creating this postcard design, I learned how to use Illustrator to layout a design.  I also learned about postal regulations as they apply to postcard design.

This poster design uses the bold, patriotic colors of red, white, and blue to attract attention and instill a feeling of patriotism.  This design also uses arrows to direct the viewer's eye through the design and to the important information.

Self-Reflection: In the process of creating this poster design, I learned how to create a design that invites the viewer to look closer by using bold colors and putting important information in smaller text.
